One of the most powerful strategies in teaching is taking a cross-curricular approach and to incorporate curriculum expectations from various subject areas to create an engaging activity . It involves a conscious effort to apply knowledge , principles , and values to more than one academic discipline simultaneously . In contrast to learning skills in isolation , interdisciplinary experiences motivate the students to see the value of their learning .
This second edition is a collection of inspiring articles of cross-curricular activities which clearly demonstrate how integrating Science into English can be constructively educational .
