Le Musée Archéologique National de Madrid offre une plongée historique dans la Tunisie coloniale de la fin du XIXème siècle . Les visiteurs peuvent observer un catalogue rassemblant de nombreuses photographies prises entre les années 1850 et 1892 , et conservées depuis 1892 , date de l ’ Exposition Historique Européenne qui avait inauguré le bâtiment . Ces archives , cédées par le Bey de Tunis , sont présentées aux côtés d ’ objets ayant appartenu à la colonie française et au protectorat tunisien . Par ses thématiques variées et les différentes périodes historiques présentées , l ’ exposition Tunis en sépia offre une vision exceptionnelle à la fois historique , archéologique mais aussi sociale de la Tunisie du XI- Xème siècle . The National Archaeological Museum of Spain offers a historical view of Tunisia during the French protectorate at the end of the 19th century . Visitors can observe a catalogue that brings together several photographs taken between 1850 and 1892 and preserved since 1892 , year of the European Historical Exhibition and the inauguration of the building . These archives , ceded by the Bey of Tunis , are presented next to objects that belonged to the French colony and the Tunisian protectorate . Through a variety of themes and the different historical periods presented , the exhibition Tunis in sepia offers a historical , archaeological but also social perspective of Tunisia during the 19th century .
