Painter and visual artist , Slimen Elkamel finds inspiration in mass media images that he shapes with his skilled hands into new forms , making them resonate with each other in order to open up a new path halfway between aesthetics and philosophical reflection . It should be noted that the artist has been immersed in the magic of images and words since his childhood , deeply marked by books and popular stories that his aunts used to tell . After completing literary studies , the young man enters the Fine Arts Institute in Tunis and graduated with a master in painting and a master in visual arts . Slimen Elkamel ’ s artworks prove that art and literature are closely linked . If books open up the imagination , the visual artist ’ s works talk to those who know how to listen . Public ’ s emotions and sensations are addressed .
