Le Grand Palais rend hommage à
Seydou Keïta par une exposition
retraçant l’ensemble de sa carrière.
Considéré aujourd’hui comme l’un
des plus talentueux photographes
de la seconde moitié du XXème
siècle et le père de la photographie
africaine, les œuvres de Seydou
Keïta constituent un témoignage
exceptionnel sur la société malienne de son époque. Spécialisé
dans la photo de portrait, ses clichés révèlent une grande maîtrise
du cadrage, de la lumière et d’une

photographers of the second half of the

photography, the work of Seydou Keïta

of the centring and of the light and a
