COMMUNITY & CULTURE A TRIBUTE TO SINGER HARMONY Every now and then, someone comes into our lives and touches it in ways we never imagined. And every now and then, someone leaves our lives, and it, too touches us in ways we never imagined. In mid– January, singer Harmony Culbreath died. She was loved by so many people. She shared her unforgettable voice with her community. Harmony sang at nonprofit events, fashion events, and at bars and restaurants in St. Charles County and surrounding communities. We may never know why her life ended so soon, but we will remember and honor the beautiful soul that she was. The following words on a college fund site set up for her four children by those who knew her and loved her says it all. 58 “Harmony Culbreath was a beautiful soul taken from our planet way too soon at thirtyeight years young. She was a loving woman, amazing singer and a spirit like no other. She loved hard even while having a life with many struggles. She was passionate and lived life without judgment. She lit up any room just by being in it. But her greatest love was for her children. They meant the world to her.” To make a donation to the college fund, visit www.gofundme.com/kq2fv0. GAZELLE WEST
