I
t was a star-studded night of music at The
Grandel Theatre during the recent jazz concert
to benefit Metro Theatre Company. Guests
were treated to a New Orleans-themed affair,
complete with Mardi Gras cocktails and dinner,
and world-class jazz with the likes of Terence Blanchard,
Peter Martin and Brian Owens. Proceeds from the
event supported Metro Theater’s February production
of “Bud, Not Buddy,” featuring a score by Blanchard.
Diane Davenport, Traci Moore and Suzie Nall served as
co-chairs; Alison and John Ferring, and Nancy and Ken
Kranzberg served as honorary co-chairs.
