Gazelle: In your opinion, what is missing in the St. Louis
fashion scene?
Suarez: Collaboration between the various entities and institutions we
have here in the region could be stronger, but I think within the next
couple of years or next few years, things will transform for the better.
Gazelle: What do you love about the local fashion scene?
Suarez: It’s an exciting time to be in St. Louis. There are many
established fashion programs, as well as new organizations building a
very strong scene here. Other supporting components of the fashion
supply chain are starting to emerge that will make it an almost turn-key
spot for fashion.
