“T
he World’s Greatest Party Band,” The
B-52s, did not disappoint the more than
3,000 partygoers who mixed and mingled,
and danced the night away at Zoofari 2017.
The signature biennial fundraiser raised
more than $1 million to support the world-class Saint Louis Zoo
in its efforts to save endangered species at home and around
the world. This year’s event featured specialty food and drink
from more than 60 local establishments whose themed booths
welcomed wildly and colorfully attired attendees at every turn.
Cynthia Brinkley and Steve Finerty served as co-chairs, along with
honorary chairs Jerry and Peggy Ritter.
