For fall 2017, Mestiza New York
travels on a journey around the
world, filling its treasure chest along
the way with Spanish matador
embroideries and brocades, flamenco
ruffles and beaded feathered
embellishments. The brand’s creative
director, Alessandra Perez-Rubio,
designed a collection that combines
elements of Spanish traditional dress
with fabrications and silhouettes
from her Filipino heritage. The
result is a collection shining with
bold, elevated and elegant statement
