T
he recent St. Louis Symphony Prelude at The Ritz-
Carlton was held in celebration of David Robertson,
who is in his 13th and final year as music director. The
kickoff to the symphony’s 138th season was attended by
300 guests, including more than 30 orchestra members.
Following a cocktail reception and dinner, guests were entertained by
performances from symphony musicians, as well as members of its
Youth Orchestra. Robertson’s farewell season culminates in a black-tie
fundraising gala in April 2018.
