PUBLISHER'S NOTE
Celebrate Mother’s
Day Month by Making
Time for Your Soul
A
t this point, most of us have settled into the rhythm of the New Year after the
relaxation of the holidays, then the rush of starting the year anew. We are beginning
to get some much-needed vitamin D from the sun, and are enjoying the beautiful
transition to warmer weather as flowers bloom and give us that natural, radiant
feeling of joy. But how many of us take the time to notice the beauty of transition as
the seasons change? Very often, we are moving way too fast to see the little things that feed our souls.
I can attest to the fact that life is incredibly busy. With “Gazelle” now a monthly publication, I
find myself struggling to make time to nourish my soul. There are so many things to do, goals to
achieve, and people to see.
That is why I am making a concerted effort to make that time for my soul. What better way to
do it than with a staycation? Still close to home, but far enough away to make me switch off for
even just a day. I need that time - we all do - so that I can be a better leader, friend, partner and
mother. Whatever you do, I encourage you to make time for you. Take a day trip, and if you can,
stay overnight. Make time for your soul.
Sincerely,
Cillah Hall
