‘Bling’ at Its
Best!
N
amrata Mirpuri is the founder and design director
of Pasha, a company that creates sandals and
hairbands with bling. These beauties are made
with genuine leather combined with bohemian
crystals and rhinestones from Czech Republic,
and corals and mother of pearl from Java ocean waters.
Mirpuri was born in Sri Lanka, but grew up in Peru, with
Spanish as her first language. She married at a young age and once
again moved to the other side of the world - to Hong Kong. From
the beginning, she was fascinated with jewelry, which led her to
becoming a certified gemologist, specializing in diamonds.
Jewelry has always been her passion and so has her love for
travel around the globe, from remote islands to jungle safaris and
metropolitan cities. During her travel experiences, she saw women
dressed in beautiful clothes and jewelry, but still felt something was
missing.
“Every woman is an ideal model and should be graciously
adorned from top to bottom,” Mirpuri said. With this as her vision,
she created the unique lines, Pasha “Jewelry for your Feet” sandals,
and Pasha “Jewelry for your Hair” accessories that have the look of
a real piece of jewelry.
