T
he St. Louis Public Library Foundation’s signature literary-themed
gala, Stranger than Fiction: When Words Collide, took place at
the Central Library downtown. This year’s theme evoked the
golden era of science fiction, and many guests came attired in
their favorite science fiction-inspired character. Proceeds from the
biennial event benefit the library’s literacy and after-school programs. Megan and
Tom Wall, and Erica and Bryan Willert served as event chairs.
