Godfried Addae attended Parkway West High School in St . Louis and University of Missouri-Columbia . He currently lives in Seattle , but maintains strong roots in the St . Louis area . His beautiful wife , Sally , shared their love story with " Gazelle STL ."
HOW WE MET We met at the airport in Miami in 2010 . I was going back home to Canada from a trip , and he was on a layover . We started chatting , exchanged numbers and here we are six years later .
HOW HE PROPOSED He proposed twice actually . The first time was during a health crisis . Godfried had spent a few days in the hospital , and I dropped everything and flew down from Canada to take care of him . Unfortunately , he couldn ’ t get down on one knee , but he made up for it during a getaway to Chicago . He surprised me with a proposal at Buckingham Fountain ,
