Fitness Guru Ivy Hartman Hutchinson
STL TV Host, College and Career Counselor
As a mother of four, co-owner of ATT Evolution – St. Louis MMA
Gym and Family Fitness Center, and wife of UFC Welterweight
Champion Tyron Woodley - and all that entails - Averi Woodley has a
lot on her plate.
And she thrives on her varied roles.
Graduating from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s
degree in sociology, and later, a master’s in public administration
from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Woodley previously
worked as an educator for the University City School District. Over
time, her career path changed. After gaining weight while pregnant,
she discovered fitness in an effort to shed pounds, and eventually,
realized there were probably many women who could benefit from her
newfound knowledge. She was right.
In 2015, she founded the women-only fitness program, “Bad Bish Boot
Camp,” designed to help women adopt a healthier and realistic lifestyle,
with a focus on self-worth and supporting each other emotionally.
Her husband is also an actor and a Fox sports analyst, and travels
around the country, defending and retaining his UFC title. Sometimes When Ivy Hartman Hutchinson sat down in her first master’s
counseling class, she knew she found her true calling.
That’s not to say she doesn’t love her other endeavors, including
hosting and producing various programs at STL TV, and emceeing
large charity events with her auctioneer-husband, banking executive
Kirk Hutchinson.
She grew up in Brentwood, California, earned a degree in mass
communications with an emphasis in broadcasting from California
State University East Bay, and in l999, moved to St. Louis in search of
love and work in the television industry.
She found both. She married and landed the job at STL TV, where she
produced and hosted the Mid-America Emmy-nominated “Pathways to
Healing,” a series of shows dealing with domestic violence.
She later earned a master’s of education in counseling from
University of Missouri-St. Louis, and is now a full-time college and
career counselor at Rockwood High School and an adjunct professor
at UMSL, where she designed a master’s-level counseling class that is a
model for other counselor education programs across the state.

she goes along, giving her an opportunity to mix up her wardrobe.
“Most days, I’m in gym clothes and a hat,” Woodley said. “When I go to
events with Tyron, it gives me a chance to project a different side of me.”
Her preferred style is a little sexy; a little elegant, with an edgy piece
like ankle boots or a touch of leather.
