M
ore than a dozen of St. Louis’ most popular
dining establishments participated in this
year’s CarneyVal to benefit the Carney’s
Kids Foundation. Guests enjoyed an array
of culinary offerings, as well as a stand-up
comedy program, and live and silent auctions. A signature of the
event is the attire, with guests encouraged to wear outrageous
costumes. Spotted among the crowd was foundation namesake
John Carney as King Tut. Proceeds from the event, held at
Ameristar Casino, support local organizations whose focus is
improving the lives of children.
