BEAUTY & GLAM CELEBRITY BEAUTY MOMENT Tiffany Haddish I t goes without saying that America’s favorite funny woman, Tiffany Haddish, is a breakout star. After her appearance in the hit movie, “Girl’s Trip,” Haddish has been on a roll, working nonstop on some of entertainment’s most sought-after projects. She is currently on a comedy tour, which included a January performance in St. Louis. In November, Haddish became the first black female comic to host “Saturday Night Live.” She will again make history this summer when she hosts the MTV Movie and TV Awards. In February, she signed a multi-million-dollar deal with Netflix. Life has not always been easy for the 38-year-old beauty. In her memoir, “The Last Black Unicorn,” she details her personal and professional hardships. For a period after she graduated from high school, Haddish was homeless, living in her car. She said she learned to survive by making people laugh. We love her because despite many adversities, Haddish believed in herself enough to keep pursuing her dreams. Tiffany Haddish wore a traditional Eritrean dress on the 2018 Oscars’ red carpet, in memory of her father, who passed away last year. She later changed to a $4,000 white Alexander McQueen dress (that she proudly proclaims she has worn publicly at least two other times) for her presentation segment of the program with fellow comedian Maya Rudolph.
