WHAT ATTRACTED YOU ? Hayley : Besides his looks ? His manners . He ’ s definitely a Southern gentleman , which was a breath of fresh air for me . He ’ s always opening doors for me , pulling out chairs , giving me his jacket , complimenting me , etc . I didn ’ t know guys like that still existed . Blonie : I was initially attracted to her beauty and dedication to family . I soon learned she was also intelligent , thoughtful and humble .

HOW DID HE PROPOSE ? Hayley : He told me we were going on a romantic dinner date - just the two of us - since we hadn ’ t done that in awhile . As we were about to leave the house , Blonie told me to look at Juice , our cat , who had a big , shiny red thing hanging on her collar . I knelt down to look at it , and the tag on the collar said , “ Will you marry me ?” I turned around , and he was right there , on one knee , holding a ring out . I freaked out , and obviously said , “ Yes !” Once I calmed down and fixed my makeup smears from all the tears , he took me to The Racquet Club in the Central West End , where he had rented out a room for dinner that was spread with roses and candles , and surprised me with all of my closest friends and family . He even flew his sister in to town . It was such a special night .
