GAZELLE MAGAZINE APRIL 2018 | Page 10

PUBLISHER'S NOTE New Beginnings A pril is my favorite month of the year because it represents new beginnings. Little things give me joy, like the sprouting of daffodils in my yard, lying in bed, watching through the window as a cardinal teeters around the birdfeeder on the deck, or seeing a family of deer move softly through the trees, which are beginning to fill in with leaves. Some of it is the delight of spending the first spring in my new Chesterfield home, and the other part is just a feeling that everything will be OK. It’s like when a new baby comes into a family and brings bursts of love and hope - that is what spring feels like to me. It is a new beginning for us at Gazelle magazine, too. In March, we announced the creation of Gazelle Life TV, a partnership with Optimal Entertainment to produce high-quality, digital content that engages at a new, more intimate level. Our goal is to bring the Gazelle heart, mind and soul into serialized storytelling, with coverage on issues that impact women. Expect serious content, light features that bring laughter, and a bit of sassy glitz as we delve into the celebrity world. We launched the partnership with a powerful #MeToo film featuring St. Louis women, and the response was incredible. We heard from women across the United States, Europe, Africa and Asia, many who also had their own #MeToo stories. Thank you for giving us the courage to move forward. Tune in at gazellelifetv.com.
