I actu agenda I news diary I ‫رة‬ ‫املفك‬ ‫الأخبـار‬ Genève Geneva ‫جنيف‬ Kelley Walker au MAMCO Du 31 Mai au 10 Septembre 2017 Cet été, le MAMCO , Musée d’Art Moderne et Contemporain de Genève en Suisse consacre une importante exposition à l’artiste américain Kelley Walker (né en 1969 aux Etats-Unis). L’exposition sera déployée sur les 1000 m2 du premier étage. Dans son travail, Kelley Walker utilise à la fois des techniques issues du Pop Art, comme le collage, la photographie et la sérigraphie, et des outils numériques contemporains, pour interroger la circulation et la consommation des images. L’exposition sera également accompagnée par d’autres initiatives, telles qu’une œuvre de Samuel Gross, intitulée « Swiss Pop » exposée au 3ème étage ou encore une exposition inédite des images et des dispositifs photographiques conçus par le collectif canadien General Idea. Kelley Walker uses both techniques from Pop Art such as collages, photography and screen-printing and contemporary digital tools to examine the circulation and consumption of images. Other initiatives will be showcased at the exhibition, namely Samuel Gross’ “Swiss Pop”, displayed at MAMCO’s third floor, and an unprecedented images and photographic devices exhibit designed by the Canadian collective General Idea.
