Cette exposition présentée à la Tate Modern Gallery de Londres est consacrée à l’un des rares artistes du
siècle dernier dont le travail est encore plus identifiable que son nom : Giacometti. Grâce à l'extraordinaire
collection et archives de la Fondation Alberto et Annette Giacometti de Paris, l’exposition réunit plus de
250 œuvres. Elle comprend des plâtres et des dessins rarement exposés et met en évidence l'évolution
complète de la carrière de Giacometti,
depuis ses premières œuvres jusqu'aux
sculptures de bronze emblématiques
telle que Walking Man I réalisée en

This exhibition reasserts Giacometti’s place
as one of the great painter-sculptors of the
twentieth
century.
Through
unparalleled
access to the extraordinary collection and
archive of the Fondation Alberto et Annette
Giacometti, Paris, Tate Modern’s ambitious
and wide-ranging exhibition brings together
over 250 works. It includes rarely seen
plasters and drawings, which have never
been exhibited before and showcases the full
evolution of Giacometti’s career, from early
works to iconic bronze sculptures such as
Walking Man in 1960. I
