aniel Portela, Mexican singer-
songwriter and recording artist,
began his artistic preparation
at a very early age and has appeared
in different cities of the country and
has been part of several music bands,
such as Simbolos, with whom recor-
ded two albums and made shows
throughout Mexico being the opening
act for big names of the mexican pop
of the moment like Sentidos Opues-
tos, OV7, Ragazzi, Fey, Anahí, among
others. He was also part of other
bands, and during that time he com-
bined his music passion with theater,
participating in several musicals such
as Rent, Que Plantón, Jesus Christ Su-
perstar (playing JesusChrist), Beauty
& The Beast (Gaston), among many
others, and more recently in Puerto
Vallarta’s hits Rocky Horror Show (as
Rocky) and Sordid Lives (as Ty William-
son), both productions of Act II Enter-
tainment.
To these hits were added later a se-
ries of concerts as solo pop singler in
well-known venues of Puerto Vallarta
such as The Palm and Act II Stages
with great success, under the produc-
