Isla Mujeres is a very quiet place although in the day many tourists come to spend some time in its beach clubs , parks and dolphinariums or to practice scuba diving and other water activities . However , as night falls and as the last ferries sail to Cancun , fewer people remain on the island and the sound that predominates is the slight noise of waves crashing against the boats .
Puerto Morelos is a very cozy fishing village located 20 miles south of Cancun . Here you can walk along its safe and lighted streets and stop for a bite to eat or have a cup of coffee without being disturbed by the typical noise of cars , loud music or any other distraction .
North of Cancun you will also find Isla Blanca , a very intimate and beautiful beach that is not known by most tourists because it is not surrounded by huge hotels and luxurious restaurants . However , you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views during the sunset at the place where the sea and the lagoon meet . On the way to this beach you can find several restaurants where to eat in Puerto Juárez , places frequented by locals as they offer the best seafood in the destination .
Isla Mujeres es un lugar muy tranquilo a pesar que por el día llegan muchos turistas a pasar el día en sus clubes de playa , parques y delfinarios o a bucear y practicar otras actividades acuáticas . Sin embargo , al caer la noche y a medida que van zarpando los últimos ferris a Cancún , quedan menos personas en la isla y el sonido que predomina es el ligero ruido de las olas chocando contra las lanchas .
Puerto Morelos es un pueblo de pescadores muy acogedor ubicado a 33 kilometros al sur de Cancún . Aquí pueden caminar por sus calles seguras e iluminadas y parar a comer algo o tomar un café sin que te moleste el típico ruido de los carros , música a todo volumen o cualquier otra distracción .
Al norte de Cancún también te espera Isla Blanca , una playa muy íntima y hermosa que no es tan conocida por turistas ya que no está rodeada de enormes hoteles y restaurantes lujosos . Sin embargo , podrás disfrutar de una de las vistas más hermosas durante el atardecer en el lugar donde el mar y la laguna se conectan . De paso a esta playa puedes encontrar varios restaurantes donde comer en Puerto Juárez , lugares concurridos por los locales ya que ofrecen los mejores mariscos del destino .
