Después de Guachimontones
nos dirigimos de regreso
a Guadalajara, donde la
primera parada fue el hotel NH
Collection del Centro Histórico
de Guadalajara para disfrutar
de un delicioso brunch mientras
apreciábamos la hermosa vista de
la catedral y otros monumentos
históricos.

about its interesting history, which
dates back to the beginning of the
19th century. The murals of this
place are imposing and beautiful,
transmitting in an effective and
somber way the history of Mexico.

On the fourth day we enjoyed
a delicious breakfast at the
hacienda before leaving for
the archaeological site of
Guachimontones. This place
surprises you at first sight
because of the peculiar shape
of its pyramids and the beautiful
green color that covers them. We
were able to take advantage of the
fact that it was still early and there
were not many people around
to take several photos and walk
around.
After Guachimontones we headed
back to Guadalajara, where the
first stop was the NH Collection
hotel in downtown Guadalajara
to enjoy a delicious brunch while
appreciating the beautiful view of
the cathedral and other historical
monuments.
After our brunch we walked along
this historical site until we reached
Nuestra última parada del día fue
la Hacienda Labor de Rivera,
un hermoso y majestuoso hotel
que se envuelve por la naturaleza
de la zona para ofrecer a sus
huéspedes una maravillosa
experiencia en sus instalaciones
con diseño colonial. Aquí
pudimos disfrutar de un sinfín
de actividades por la tarde,
incluyendo un paseo en kayak
en el lago y un picnic a la orilla
del mismo, cabalgata y paseo en
bici por sus extensos jardines y
una cena íntima y deliciosa para
concluir este maravilloso día.
El cuarto día disfrutamos de
un delicioso desayuno en
la hacienda, antes de partir
a la zona arqueológica de
Guachimontones. Este sitio
arqueológico te sorprende a
simple vista por la forma peculiar
de sus pirámides y el hermoso
color verde que las cubre.
Pudimos aprovechar que todavía
era temprano y no había mucha
gente para tomar varias fotos y
pasear tranquilamente por sus
alrededores.
Thus, our visit to Guadalajara
and its surroundings concluded.
Without a doubt it was an
experience worth sharing,
hoping that more people would
be interested in visiting all these
treasures of the beautiful state
of Jalisco. We thank Jalisco
Friendly, Secretaría de Turismo
and Mexico’s Tourism Board for
the invitation to be part of this
wonderful journey and to all the
people and companies that made
sure that everything went perfect
during this trip, making every
moment memorable.

Al terminar nuestro brunch
caminamos por el centro histórico
hasta llegar al Hospicio Cabañas
para conocer más acerca del
lugar y su interesante historia,
que data a inicios del Siglo
XIX. Los murales de este lugar
son imponentes y hermosos,
transmitiendo de una forma eficaz
y sombría la historia de México.
De esta forma concluyó nuestra
visita a Guadalajara y sus
alrededores. Sin duda fue una
experiencia que vale la pena
compartir, esperando que más
personas se interesen en visitar
todos estos tesoros del hermoso
estado de Jalisco. Agradecemos
a Jalisco Friendly, la Secretaría
de Turismo y el CPTM por la
invitación a ser parte de este
maravilloso recorrido y a todas
las personas y empresas que
se aseguraron que todo saliera
