Almirante Nieto Mountain – Torres del Paine National Park, Chile
Sunrise orange hues project upon layers of lenticular clouds
as they hang over Almirante Nieto Mountain in Torres del Paine
National Park, Chile. These eerie lenticular clouds are a familiar
feature of the sky in this area of Patagonia, products of the
ferocious winds in the upper atmosphere. Instead of capturing
the entire scene, I decided to isolate the shapes and patterns
to make it semi-abstract.
Cahaya oranye cerah mewarnai lapisan awan lenticular yang
menggantung di atas Gunung Almirante Nieto di Taman Nasional
Torres del Paine, Cile. Awan menakjubkan, yang dihasilkan oleh
angin kuat di atmosfer bagian atas, ini menjadi ciri khas langit
di daerah Patagonia. Alih-alih menangkap keseluruhan
pemandangan, saya memutuskan untuk menyekat bentuk
