My work should always
say as much about me,
the artist, as it does about
the places and things
they represent.
Each of the photos I’ve shared in this series
represents a very special experience I’ve had,
as well as my emotional reaction to the
scene. I try to be aware of this visceral
reaction and then conceptualise it using my
toolbox of cameras, lenses and photographic
knowledge to express this feeling to others.
Therefore, my work should always say as
much about me, the artist, as it does about
the places and things it represents.
Foto-foto yang saya tampilkan dalam seri ini
mewakili pengalaman istimewa yang pernah
saya rasakan, serta reaksi emosional saya
pada saat itu. Saya mencoba peka pada reaksi
naluriah dan kemudian menerjemahkan
perasaan saya melalui seperangkat kamera,
lensa dan pengetahuan fotografi. Karena itu,
karya-karya saya tidak hanya menampilkan
tempat dan benda, tetapi juga tentang saya,
seniman di balik karya-karya tersebut.
Polar Light – Iceland
Iceland is one of the best places to see and photograph
the aurora borealis or Northern Lights. The small island country
is located in the middle of the aurora belt and the country’s
modern infrastructure makes it easy to get around. On any clear
night, you have a very good chance to experience this
amazing phenomenon.
Islandia adalah salah satu tempat terbaik untuk melihat dan
memotret aurora borealis atau “Cahaya Utara”. Negara kepulauan
kecil ini terletak di tengah lingkaran aurora. Infrastrukturnya
yang modern memudahkan Anda untuk berkeliling. Anda dapat
