GMF PUBLIC EXPOSE MARKS INDONESIAN STOCK EXCHANGE ’ S BIGGEST MRO IPO
PT Garuda Maintenance Facility AeroAsia ( GMF ), a pioneer in Indonesia ’ s Maintenance , Repair and Overhaul ( MRO ) industry , held a Public Exposé on September 11 ahead of its Initial Public Offering ( IPO ), which is due to take place on October 10 .
The company offered a total of 10,890,068,700 new shares , equal to 30 % of the total capital invested by the GMF after the IPO . This marks the largest IPO within Asia ’ s MRO industry in 17 years .
President & CEO of PT Garuda Maintenance Facility AeroAsia ( GMF ) Iwan Joeniarto said the IPO was a strategic step for the GMF in realising its vision of becoming one of the top 10 MROs in the world with targeted earnings of up to US $ 1 billion in 2021 . “ With a competent management and expert technicians , the company ’ s history and a positive business outlook , we are certain the GMF IPO will receive positive responses from investors ,” Iwan said .
According to GMF Chief Commissioner Helmi Imam Satriyono , GMF will have to be able to show a positive performance following the IPO . “ The implementation of improved corporate governance so as to bring added value to the stakeholders and shareholders today is absolutely important ,” Helmi said .

PT Garuda Maintenance Facility AeroAsia ( GMF ), pionir industri Maintenance , Repair and Overhaul ( MRO ) di Indonesia , melaksanakan Paparan Publik ( Public Expose ) pada 11 September , dalam rangka Penawaran Umum Perdana Saham atau Initial Public Offering ( IPO ) pada 10 Oktober mendatang .
Total saham yang ditawarkan kepada masyarakat sebesar 10.890.068.700 lembar saham baru . Jumlah tersebut setara 30 % dari jumlah modal yang ditempatkan dan disetor GMF setelah IPO . Ini merupakan IPO terbesar dalam industri MRO di Asia dalam 17 tahun terakhir .
Direktur Utama PT Garuda Maintenance Facility AeroAsia ( GMF ), Iwan Joeniarto mengatakan , IPO merupakan langkah strategis GMF untuk mewujudkan visi menjadi Top 10 MRO in The World dengan pendapatan mencapai 1 miliar USD pada 2021 . “ Bersama manajemen yang kompeten dan teknisi yang andal , rekam jejak perusahaan , dan prospek usaha yang baik , kami yakin IPO GMF akan mendapat respons positif dari investor ,” papar Iwan .
Dengan IPO , menurut Komisaris Utama GMF Helmi Imam Satriyono , GMF harus dapat menunjukkan kinerja positifnya . “ Penerapan good corporate governance yang lebih baik guna memberikan nilai tambah bagi para stakeholders dan shareholders saat ini mutlak diperlukan ,” tutur Helmi .
GARUDA INDONESIA STARTS NON-STOP SERVICE FOR JAKARTA – LONDON
PT Garuda Indonesia ( Persero ) Tbk . is set to launch its new direct Jakarta – London flight starting October 31 , 2017 . “ With the launch of this service , Garuda Indonesia will become the only airline with the fastest , most comfortable and most efficient flight service from Indonesia to the United Kingdom and Europe ,” President & CEO of PT Garuda Indonesia ( Persero ) Tbk . Pahala N . Mansury said .
The direct Jakarta – London flight will make it even easier for passengers from the UK to fly to Asia Pacific destinations , especially those that are part of the Kangaroo route , namely Melbourne , Sydney and Perth , seeing as this direct flight is connected to Garuda Indonesia ’ s flight schedule for its Australian destinations .
Garuda Indonesia will be flying out of Jakarta ’ s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport into London Heathrow three times a week on Tuesday , Thursday and Saturday . The service will operate using a Boeing 777-300ER with a 314 seat capacity comprising eight in First Class , 38 in Business Class and 268 in Economy Class . The fleet will be equipped with Inflight Connectivity and Live TV services for all passengers as well as a Chef on Board service for First Class passengers .
Garuda Indonesia Layani Penerbangan Nonstop Jakarta – London
PT Garuda Indonesia ( Persero ) Tbk . siap mengoperasikan penerbangan Jakarta – London nonstop mulai 31 Oktober 2017 mendatang . “ Dengan dioperasikannya layanan ini , Garuda Indonesia akan menjadi satu-satunya maskapai yang memiliki penerbangan nonstop tercepat , nyaman dan efisien dari Indonesia ke Britania Raya dan Eropa ,” kata Direktur Utama PT Garuda Indonesia ( Persero ) Tbk ., Pahala N . Mansury .
Operasional penerbangan nonstop Jakarta – London akan semakin memudahkan akses bagi penumpang dari Britania Raya ke kawasan Asia Pasifik , terutama di destinasi-destinasi yang menjadi bagian dari Rute Kanguru , yakni Melbourne , Sydney dan Perth . Hal ini mengingat rute penerbangan Jakarta – London terhubung dengan jadwal penerbangan Garuda Indonesia menuju Australia .
Garuda Indonesia akan melayani penerbangan nonstop dari dan menuju London Heathrow tiga kali per minggu , setiap Selasa , Kamis , dan Sabtu , dengan pesawat Boeing 777-300ER berkapasitas 314 penumpang , terdiri atas 8 kursi First Class , 38 kursi Business Class , dan 268 kursi Economy Class . Armada tersebut dilengkapi layanan Inflight Connectivity dan Live TV bagi seluruh penumpang serta layanan Chef on Board untuk penumpang First Class .
