Top Tips
Here are a few basic tips that
can vastly improve your chances
of snapping a stunning shot. But
before you start zipping around
town with your drone, always be
aware of your local laws and
regulations regarding drone use,
and make sure you have the
proper permit to conduct aerial
photography as the rules will
differ from country to country,
and from region to region.
• Plan ahead and visualise the
shots you want to take.
• As drone photography is still
in its infancy; practice (and
research) makes perfect.
• If you’re a first-time flyer, it’s
advisable to purchase a cheaper
drone first to hone your skills.
Crashing an expensive drone
and camera you just bought is
not fun. Stay calm, and fly safe.
• Meet up with other drone
pilots and talk shop – learn
from each other!
• Check the weather report.

magical place, especially in the
winter early in the morning,
when you can enjoy it all to
yourself. This photo won second
prize in the Places category.
Mont Saint-Michel adalah
pulau di pesisir Normandi,
Perancis. Tempat luar biasa,
khususnya saat musim dingin
di pagi hari, saat Anda bisa total
bersantai. Foto ini berhasil

in French Polynesia. It had
rained earlier that day and
as a result a lovely rainbow
appeared. This is Tahitian life!
This photo won third prize
in the Nature category.

datangnya panorama senja
di French Polynesia. Hujan
turun sebelumnya di tempat itu
sehingga pelangi yang cantik pun
terbentuk. Inilah kehidupan
ala Tahiti! Foto ini berhasil

kategori “Nature”.

Dalam fotografi drone, ada
sejumlah tips dasar yang bisa
membuat Anda mendapatkan
hasil foto mengagumkan.
Sebelum menyisir kota dengan
drone yang dimiliki, pastikan
aturan dan hukum setempat
membolehkan penggunaan drone
dan Anda memiliki izin untuk
melakukan foto udara karena
aturan di satu negara bisa jadi
berbeda di negara lain, demikian
pula dengan daerah lainnya.
• Rencanakan dan bayangkan
objek yang ingin diambil.
• Karena fotografi drone masih
cenderung baru, latihan
(dan riset) menjadikan hasil
yang sempurna.
• Disarankan membeli drone
yang tak terlalu mahal untuk
mengasah kemampuan Anda,
bila Anda masih pemula. Drone
dan kamera yang rusak karena
menabrak sesuatu sangat tak
menyenangkan. Tetap tenang
dan terbang aman.
• Coba temui para penerbang
drone lainnya dan berbagi
pengalaman!
• Lihatlah laporan cuaca.
