26 Welcome On Board Welcome On Board ATTENTION SAFETY INFORMATION WATCH THE SAFETY DEMONSTRATION Many passengers have seen safety demonstrations on numerous occasions. Taking the time to watch the safety demonstration every time you travel will refresh and reinforce important safety information so that in an emergency the information will be easily recalled. UNSECURE CARRY-ON BAGGAGE IS A SAFETY RISK All carry-on baggage, including passengers’ personal effects, shall be stowed either in the overhead lockers or under the seat in front of you. Do not stow anything under your feet or in the exit rows. Unsecured baggage can turn into a lethal missile in an accident or severe turbulence. In the event of an emergency evacuation, leave everything behind. The number-one priority is to evacuate as quickly as possible. Taking carryon baggage will slow down the evacuation time on the slides and cause injury. If cabin baggage exceeds the permitted size or weight, it must be checked in with your other baggage and not carried in the aircraft cabin.
