This month , coinciding with two new route launches by Garuda Indonesia – Denpasar to Maumere and Jakarta to Kupang – we hit the high seas aboard a superyacht to explore the islands in and around both destinations , opening up the hidden treasures of Indonesia ’ s best-kept-secret destinations that lie between Flores and Alor . Next we fly to Thailand , where the great capital of Bangkok is networked with a watery web of more than 300km of canals . In a city that ’ s famous for its urban sprawl and epic traffic , one of the unanticipated pleasures is to find peace and tranquillity by heading for the cooling canals . And , with the holidays just around the corner , we plunge into the Christmas lights , decorations and festivities of Moscow , bringing a sparkle and warmth to the wintry Russian capital . Back in Indonesia , we discover a delightfully laid-back character to what might be Indonesia ’ s most unexpectedly alluring city : Semarang on the north coast of Java , which has a wonderful nostalgic vibe to it .
Bulan ini , seiring dengan dibukanya dua rute baru Garuda Indonesia , yaitu Denpasar – Maumere dan Jakarta – Kupang , kami menjelajahi lautan dengan menumpang super-yacht guna menelusuri pulau-pulau di sekitar rute baru tersebut , menguak kekayaan alam tersembunyi yang berada di antara Flores dan Alor .
