The 41 st edition of the Singapore International Festival of Arts ( SIFA 2018 ) features game-changing artists from a spectrum of art forms set to engage and inspire audiences , from new festivalgoers to seasoned arts lovers . Commissioned by the National Arts Council , Singapore , and organised by Arts House Limited , this leading performing arts festival is helmed by new festival director Gaurav Kripalani . The new Festival House is the centre of activities , with the festival programme including a series of high-octane shows and a vast array of options that allow diverse audiences to tailor their own festival experiences . In theatre , German director Thomas Ostermeier directs a contemporary adaptation of Henrik Ibsen ’ s An Enemy of the People , set to a present-day whistleblower storyline . In dance , Michelle Dorrance , one of the most sought-after tap dancers of her generation , presents an explosive tap showcase in The Blues Project , performed to emotive blues sung by the exquisite Toshi Reagon and the BIGLovely ensemble . In music , the festival journey ends on a high note with a free outdoor celebration showcasing one of the world ’ s greatest jazz bands , the Duke Ellington Orchestra , at UNESCO World Heritage Site the Singapore Botanic Gardens . www . sifa . sg
Singapore International Festival of Arts ( SIFA 2018 ) ke-41 ini menyuguhkan karya terkini para seniman dari berbagai bidang seni yang siap menginspirasi para pengunjungnya , baik kalangan umum dan pencinta seni . Dinaungi oleh National Arts Council , Singapura , dan diselenggarakan oleh Arts House Limited , festival seni ini berada di bawah pengawasan direktur festival Gaurav Kripalani .
