GARUDA INDONESIA RECORDS BEST
OTP ACROSS ASIA PACIFIC
Garuda Indonesia has once again
achieved an impressive operational
achievement by recording the best On
Time Performance (OTP) rate in Asia Pacific,
according to a report by independent
OTP rating institution Official Airline
Guide (OAG) Flightview. Garuda Indonesia
recorded an OTP rate of 89.9 per cent for
arrivals throughout December 2018, with
over 15,000 flights. In line with that, as an
IOSA-Registered Airline, Garuda Indonesia is
continuing to maintain its operational safety
through a commitment to its safety culture
across all lines of operations.
This achievement, according to
the Director of Operations at
PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk.
Capt. Bambang Adisurya Angkasa, is all
part of Garuda Indonesia’s continuous
efforts to provide the best service for
customers, especially on the airline’s
operational front. “We continue to
intensively coordinate to maintain this
achievement, especially by optimising our
operational services and making sure
everyone puts operational excellence first
and foremost in order to provide a world-
class service,” Bambang said.

CARGO FREIGHTER SERVICE
Garuda Indonesia has partnered
with My Indo Airlines to launch the cargo
freighter on January 26, 2019. The service,
which operates using the airline’s B737-
300F fleet with a 15-tonne capacity, is set
to ship cargo to areas across Indonesia,
from Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi and
Kalimantan, to Papua, four times weekly on
Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
