GARUDA INDONESIA FLIES GUEST
OF HONOUR QUEEN MAXIMA OF
THE NETHERLANDS TO INDONESIA
National flag carrier Garuda Indonesia was
bestowed with the great honour of being the
chosen airline for Queen Maxima of the
Netherlands on her official visit to Jakarta
and Lampung on February 12–13, 2018. The
daughter-in-law of Queen Beatrix and Prince
Claus was greeted upon her arrival by the
President and CEO of PT Garuda Indonesia
(Persero) Tbk. Pahala N. Mansury at the
VVIP Room of Terminal 1, after which they
proceeded to Terminal 3 of the Soekarno-
Hatta International Airport, Cengkareng.
The Jakarta–Lampung flight, which
transported Queen Maxima and her
entourage on February 12, was serviced by
the GA 80 aircraft, while GA 75 was used for
the Lampung–Jakarta route. The following
day, Queen Maxima together with her
entourage left for the Netherlands on board
GA 88. Her retinue included UNSGSA
Director Eric Duflos, Programme Specialist
Nancy Widjaja, Ambassador of the
Netherlands to Indonesia Rob Swartbol and
Private Secretary Gabriella Sancisi.
On this visit, in her capacity as a special
envoy to the United Nations for Financial
Inclusion (United Nations Secretary
General’s Special Advocate (UNSGSA) for
Inclusive Finance for Development),
Queen Maxima met privately with the
President of the Republic of Indonesia,
Joko Widodo, at the Merdeka Palace, and
also engaged in a dialogue with traditional
food merchants and online ojek drivers.
While on her visit to Lampung, the
Queen met with Indonesian farmers.
Queen Maxima last visited Indonesia
in August 2016.

transportasi udara terpilih yang membawa
Ratu Maxima dari Belanda dalam lawatan
ke Jakarta dan Lampung, pada 12–13 Februari
2018. Kedatangan menantu Ratu Beatrix

dan Pangeran Claus ini disambut oleh
Direktur Utama PT Garuda Indonesia
(Persero) Tbk., Pahala N. Mansury, di
VVIP Room Terminal 1, berlanjut ke
Terminal 3, Bandara Internasional
Soekarno-Hatta, Cengkareng.
Penerbangan rute Jakarta–Lampung yang
membawa Ratu Maxima beserta rombongan,
pada 12 Februari 2018, dilayani pesawat
GA 80, selanjutnya rute Lampung–Jakarta
dengan GA 75. Keesokan harinya, Ratu
Maxima bersama rombongan bertolak ke
Belanda dengan GA 88. Rombongannya,
antara lain terdiri atas Direktur UNSGSA
Eric Duflos, Programme Specialist
Nancy Widjaja, Duta Besar Belanda
untuk Indonesia Rob Swartbol dan
Sekretaris Pribadi Gabriella Sancisi.
Sepanjang lawatan kali ini, dalam
kapasitasnya sebagai Utusan Khusus
Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB) untuk
Inklusi Keuangan (United Nations Secretary
General’s Special Advocate (UNSGSA) for
Inclusive Finance for Development), Ratu
Maxima berbincang khusus dengan Presiden
Republik Indonesia Joko Widodo di Istana
Merdeka, juga berdialog dengan pedagang
makanan tradisional dan pengemudi ojek
online. Sementara di Lampung, sang Ratu
bertemu dengan para petani. Terakhir kali,
Ratu Maxima menjejakkan kakinya di
Tanah Air pada Agustus 2016.
