GARUDA INDONESIA MAINTAINS
5-STAR STATUS FROM SKYTRAX
National flag carrier Garuda Indonesia
has successfully retained its title as a 5-Star
Airline from Skytrax. The renewal of
this prestigious certification was granted
by Skytrax CEO Edward Plaisted to President
and CEO of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero)
Tbk. Pahala N. Mansury during the
Singapore Airshow 2018 at Changi
Exhibition Centre on February 8, 2018.
“This achievement holds an important
meaning as the Skytrax Airline Rating System
is an important instrument for the company
in measuring the effectiveness of our efforts
to continuously improve our services, and it is
a strategic asset in boosting Garuda Indonesia’s
competitive edge,” Pahala said.
According to Edward Plaisted,
Garuda Indonesia’s success in retaining its
title from Skytrax is a manifestation of the
airline’s hard work in maintaining the quality
of its services, especially its Indonesian
Hospitality concept, and Indonesia’s
national branding in the eyes of the world.
Skytrax also granted Citilink Indonesia,
a subsidiary of Garuda Indonesia, a 4-Star
Low Cost Carrier Airline title during the
same event.
Meanwhile, during the Singapore Airshow
2018, Iwan Joeniarto, President and CEO of
PT Garuda Maintenance Facility AeroAsia
Tbk. (GMF), targeted a total of US$2.4
billion-worth of partnership contracts with
customers and strategic business partners.

Maskapai nasional Garuda Indonesia
berhasil mempertahankan predikat sebagai
Maskapai Bintang Lima dari Skytrax.
Penyerahan certification renewal predikat
bergengsi ini diterima oleh Direktur Utama
PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk., Pahala
N. Mansury, dari CEO Skytrax Edward
Plaisted di Singapore Airshow 2018 di Changi
Exhibition Centre pada 8 Februari 2018.

Airline Rating System merupakan salah
satu instrumen penting perusahaan
dalam mengukur efektivitas peningkatan
kualitas layanan yang terus kami lakukan
secara berkelanjutan sekaligus menjadi

Garuda Indonesia,” kata Pahala.
Keberhasilan Garuda Indonesia meraih
predikat dari lembaga pemeringkat
penerbangan global independen yang
berbasis di Inggris ini sejak 2014, dikatakan
Edward, merupakan wujud kerja keras tim
Garuda Indonesia dalam mempertahankan
kualitas pelayanan. Dalam hal ini, konsep
layanan Indonesian Hospitality dan Indonesia’s
national branding di mata dunia.
Citilink Indonesia, anak perusahaan
Garuda Indonesia, juga berhasil meraih
predikat Maskapai LCC Bintang Empat
dari Skytrax.
Sementara itu, Direktur Utama
PT Garuda Maintenance Facility AeroAsia
Tbk (GMF)., Iwan Joeniarto menargetkan
nilai kontrak kerja sama dengan para
customer serta mitra strategis GMF sebesar
US$2,4 miliar di Singa pore Airshow 2018.
