5 Senses – Scent
SCENT OF
ARABIA
Standing at the foot of the Portuguesebuilt Al-Jalali Fort, the best sights that
Muscat has to offer are to be seen. If the
sand-coloured fortress is not scenic enough
for you, at one side lies the rocky island
leading to the turquoise-coloured Gulf of
Oman, at another the Al Alam Palace with its
blue, white and gold tiled façade, and to the
other side the old city of Muscat with the
domineering Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque
and Royal Opera House in the distance.
The legendary Muttrah Souq is world
renowned for its combination of luxurious
Arabian fragrances; ambergris, musk and
civet smells are everywhere. Frankincense is
found in abundance here, in perfumes, in
crystal form, in oils and even in drinking
water. So just follow the scent of what you
imagine the Middle East to smell like and
frankincense will be found. Oman offers
longer-lasting essential oil fragrances at a
fraction of the cost.
Pemandangan terbaik di Muscat dapat
dilihat di kaki benteng Al-Jalali yang
dibangun oleh bangsa Portugal. Jika benteng
campuran wewangian mewah Arabnya;
aroma ambergris, musk, dan civet di manamana. Frankincense banyak ditemukan di sini,
dalam bentuk parfum, kristal, minyak,
bahkan air minum. Jadi, ikuti saja aroma
Timur Tengah seperti yang ada di dalam
benak Anda, dan Anda pun akan menemukan
Frankincense. Oman menawarkan wewangian
minyak esensial yang lebih tahan lama
dengan harga yang miring.
