THE NEW BOEING 737 MAX 8
Garuda Indonesia will
reinforce its fleet by welcoming
a new aircraft, the Boeing 737
MAX 8, in early 2018.
The 737 MAX 8 is the latest aircraft from
the Boeing family. It combines state-of-the-
art technology, an upgraded aerodynamic
design and a refined interior design.
Its features were upgraded to guarantee
the consistently excellent services of
Garuda Indonesia as a 5-star airline that is

Fuel efficiency is one of the strongest points
of the 737 MAX 8. This is one of the main

features of the eight seats in Business
Class, passengers will be spoiled by inflight
entertainment on an extra-wide 13" screen,
which is equipped with the latest movies and
other entertainment choices. Business Class
also comes with footrests and collapsible
armrests for disabled passengers, personal
reading lights, literature pockets, power plugs
and USB points, and coat hooks.
Meanwhile, Economy Class features extra
leg room due to a 30 per cent reduction in
seat depth compared to previous aircraft,
and a more ergonomic foam design ensures
the seats feel more comfortable. Economy
Class also features adjustable headrests, and
various movies and other entertainment
choices can be watched on a 10" screen.
These features are available to all 162
Economy Class passengers.
