Welcome to Colours
We hope you enjoyed a festive and exciting New Year
celebration. As we look back on the launch of the ‘kangaroo route’,
we begin our issue this month with a stop at the Greater Blue
Mountains in Australia. Only two hours from Sydney, here one
finds dramatic landscapes of endless eucalyptus trees, cliffs,
waterfalls and quiet countryside. Back in Indonesia, we take you to
Kepahiang, the highlands of Bengkulu, where Rafflesia arnoldii
grows. Beyond its charming views, this hilly region in West
Sumatra has also long been known for its tea and coffee producers,
dating back to the colonial era. From here we fly out
to eastern Indonesia to explore Sabu Raijua and its pink soil,
underwater beauty and pristine beaches. Finally, we head over
to Taiwan, a top shopping destination in Asia with
spectacular natural beauty.
Kami berharap perayaan Tahun Baru Anda sangat
menyenangkan. Memperingati pembukaan Kangaroo Route, kami
mengawalinya dengan menyinggahi The Greater Blue Mountains
di Australia. Hanya dua jam dari Sydney, Anda akan menemui
pemandangan dramatis, meliputi cakrawala pohon kayu putih
yang tak berujung, tebing curam, air terjun dan desa-desa yang
sepi. Kembali ke Indonesia, kami mengajak Anda ke Kepahiang,
dataran tinggi Bengkulu tempat bunga Rafflesia Arnoldi tumbuh.
Daerah berbukit di pesisir barat Sumatera yang memiliki
pemandangan memikat ini juga penghasil teh dan kopi dari
zaman kolonial hingga sekarang. Setelah itu, kami beranjak ke
Indonesia Timur, Sabu Raijua, untuk menjelajahi tanahnya yang
berwarna merah jambu, surga bawah laut dan pantai pasir putih
yang memanjakan mata. Dan akhirnya, kami terbang ke Taiwan
yang tak hanya terkenal sebagai tempat belanja di kawasan Asia,
namun juga menyimpan keindahan alam yang spektakuler.
