Dolphins
Highly intelligent, dolphins are aquatic
mammals that have many characteristics
in common with human beings – for example,
they love to play and are extremely social.
Pods of dolphins can be seen daily off Alor.
Sangat cerdas, lumba-lumba adalah
mamalia laut yang memiliki banyak kesamaan
karakteristik dengan manusia—misalnya,
mereka suka bermain dan sangat sosial.
Kawanan lumba-lumba dapat dilihat
setiap hari di Alor.
Lionfish
Native to the Indo-Pacific, lionfish
attract attention because of their
dramatic pectoral fins and poisonous
spiky fin rays. They have striking red,
white, cream and black stripes.
Berasal dari Indo-Pasifik, ikan singa
menarik perhatian karena sirip dada
yang dramatis dan sirip runcing
beracun. Mereka memiliki garis-garis
merah, putih, krem dan hitam
yang mencolok.
Seahorses
These beautiful creatures also make
their home in Alor’s waters. While they
move very slowly, they are masters of
disguise so are not easy to spot.
Makhluk-makhluk cantik ini juga
bertempat tinggal di perairan Alor.
Meskipun mereka bergerak sangat
lambat, mereka juga ahli dalam
penyamaran sehingga tidak
mudah dikenali.
