The Mercure Bali Legian is set one block
back from the quiet end of Legian Beach
but still right in the heart of the boutiques,
markets, restaurants, bars and warungs
that the area is so famous for. Guests can
look forward to a stunning sea-inspired
lobby sculpture, natural timber finishes,
in-built trees, open-air terraces, an
infinity-pool deck and bar on the fourth
floor, and a large pool area outside Ancak
Restaurant. Some of the 321 rooms have
their own private plunge pools for those
who prefer a private dip, and eight rooms
come with an oversized deck overlooking
either the lobby sculpture or pool area.
Set on the secluded shores of Bali’s
southern coast, the Anantara Bali
Uluwatu Resort & Spa is carved into the
cliffside, overlooking pristine untouched
rainforest and sea. The separate Spa
Villa compound includes five treatment
rooms – including a couples’ treatment
room – reflexology room, private
en-suite steam rooms and a private pool.
Bali is an ancient – almost mystical –
land, but The Stones Hotel is a
thoroughly contemporary enclave where
one can simultaneously experience
authentic Indonesian culture and the
incredible comforts of a modern luxury
resort. The hotel features a 3,000m2
pool with a swim-up bar; a spa
specialising in traditional Southeast
Asian therapies; three distinctive
restaurants, including the Long Rice
Table showcasing authentic Indonesian
dishes; and complimentary iPods and
iPads for use throughout your stay.
