GARUDA INDONESIA TAKES HOME WORLD BRANDING AWARD 2017

Indonesian flag carrier Garuda Indonesia was named Brand of the Year in the National Tier category during the fourth World Branding Awards event recently held at Kensington Palace , England . The award was based on a tight vetting process divided into three phases , namely brand valuation , consumers and market research , and an online public vote .
Marketing and Information Technology Director of PT Garuda Indonesia ( Persero ) Tbk . Nina Sulistyowati expressed joy at the airline ’ s World Branding Awards achievement , thanking customers and stakeholders for their trust and support . “ This award makes us proud and at the same time challenges us to continue working hard to maintain the positive reputation that we have achieved ,” she said .
The airline was one of 245 brands in 32 countries to receive a Brand of the Year award . “ All 245 brands have proven their success in implementing an effective and comprehensive branding strategy ,” World Branding Forum Chairman Richard Rowles said . According to
Peter Pek , the World Branding Forum Chief Executive , this year ’ s round of awards saw an increase in both brand and consumer participation .
In mid-November , Garuda Indonesia was also awarded the Top Corporate Reputation 2017 at the Top Capital Market 2017 event held by Business News Indonesia in partnership with Asia Business Research Centre . The appraisal process for the award was conducted by market research with respondents from the general public as well as investors in Jakarta , Surabaya , Medan and Makassar .

Maskapai penerbangan Garuda Indonesia dinobatkan sebagai Brand of the Year kategori National Tier di ajang bergengsi World Branding Awards keempat yang diselenggarakan di Kensington Palace , Inggris , belum lama ini . Proses seleksinya cukup ketat , mencakup tiga tahap : evaluasi brand , riset pasar konsumen dan pengumpulan suara publik secara online .
Direktur Marketing dan Teknologi Informasi PT Garuda Indonesia ( Persero ) Tbk ., Nina Sulistyowati , menyambut gembira peraihan World Branding Awards . Dikatakan Nina , apresiasi ini tidak lepas dari dukungan serta kepercayaan pelanggan setia dan stakeholder . “ Penghargaan ini menjadi kebanggaan , juga tantangan bagi kami untuk terus bekerja keras mempertahankan reputasi positif yang diraih ,” ia menambahkan .
Predikat Brand of the Year diberikan kepada 245 merek dari 32 negara . “ Seluruh 245 brand tersebut telah membuktikan mereka sukses menerapkan strategi branding yang efektif dan komprehensif ,” kata Chairman World Branding Forum Richard Rowles . Menurut Chief Executive World Branding Forum Peter Pek , peserta dan konsumen tahun ini lebih banyak dibandingkan tahun lalu .
Selain itu , Garuda Indonesia juga berhasil meraih Top Corporate Reputation 2017 pada pertengahan November , dalam ajang Top Capital Market 2017 yang diselenggarakan oleh majalah Business News Indonesia bersama Asia Business Research Centre . Proses penilaian dilakukan oleh market research dengan responden masyarakat dan investor di Jakarta , Surabaya , Medan dan Makassar .
