What’s your travel style?
I am a budget traveller but I do bring a suitcase:
being comfortable while on holiday is
important for me. I choose destinations that
many people are unfamiliar with. Last October
I collaborated with Greenpeace Indonesia,
BBDO Singapore, Wonderfruit and Krowd
for the Save Our Sounds (SOS) Make-A-Thon
project. For this I explored Malagufuk, a remote
village in Sorong, West Papua, in order to
record the sounds of Cendrawasih songs, of
ants marching, insects and night animals, the
rain, and the comforting sound of the river
flowing. I used the sounds on my new song,
‘The Birds of Paradise’. It is so much fun being
able to work and travel at the same time.
What gadgets do you usually carry
when travelling?
Camera, portable speaker and smartphone
of course.
What are your favourite travel
destinations in Indonesia?
I love diving; that’s why I always choose
a destination that has sea and underwater
abundance, such as Komodo Island and
Kupang in Nusa Tenggara Timur. At the
moment my dream destination is Raja Ampat.
What Garuda Indonesia features have
helped make your trips more convenient?
Mobile check-in and self check-in services.
They are easy to use and efficient.
What do you like about Garuda Indonesia?
I am a loyal Garuda Indonesia customer.
The services and schedules are reliable and
on time. Garuda Indonesia also flies to many
destinations in remote areas.
Saya suka diving sehingga selalu memilih tempat
yang memiliki laut dan kekayaan bawah laut, seperti
Pulau Komodo, NTT dan Kupang.
