GARUDA INDONESIA ORGANISES AFFORDABLE
STAPLE FOOD MARKET IN 10 CITIES
In support of ‘Safari
Ramadan’, held by the Ministry
of State-Owned Enterprises,
Garuda Indonesia distributed
10,000 affordable staple food
packages in 10 locations across
various regions in Indonesia.
The in come from the affordable
staple food market was donated
to those in need, along with
joint prayer and aid donations
to orphans.
The President and CEO of PT Garuda
Indonesia (Persero) Tbk., M. Arif Wibowo,
who was present with the Indonesian
Minister of State-Owned Enterprises,
Rini Soemarno, at the inauguration of
SOEs’ Safari Ramadan 1437 H/2016 in Garut,
West Java, on June 24, 2016, said that the aid
provided by Garuda Indonesia is a part of
the company’s commitment to social and
community issues. “As part of an SOE that is
also a public company, Garuda Indonesia
is fully committed to raising awareness of
social and community issues,” he said.
Garuda Indonesia held the Affordable Staple
Food Market simultaneously in 10 regions
in Indonesia, namely Central Tapanuli,
North Sumatra, the Mentawai Islands,
West Sumatra, Batam, Pandeglang, Banten,
Tangerang, Jakarta, Berau, East Kalimantan,
Sirendeng Rapang, South Sulawesi, Mataram,
Nusa Tenggara Barat, and Biak, Papua.
Garuda Indonesia Gelar Pasar
Sembako Murah di 10 kota
Dukung kegiatan “Safari Ramadhan”
yang digagas oleh Kementerian BUMN,
Garuda Indonesia menyalurkan 10.000
paket sembako murah di 10 lokasi yang
tersebar di berbagai wilayah di Indonesia.
Hasil penjualan pasar sembako murah
tersebut sepenuhnya diberikan kepada
pihak yang berhak, serta pelaksanaan
kegiatan doa bersama dan pemberian
santunan kepada anak-anak yatim piatu.
Direktur Utama PT Garuda Indonesia
(Persero) Tbk., M. Arif Wibowo, yang turut
hadir bersama Menteri BUMN RI Rini
Soemarno pada acara peresmian “Safari
Ramadhan BUMN 1437 H/2016” di Garut,
Jawa Barat, pada 24 Juni 2016 mengatakan,
bantuan yang diberikan oleh Garuda
Indonesia merupakan wujud komitmen
perusahaan terhadap permasalahan sosial
dan kemasyarakatan. “Sebagai bagian dari
BUMN yang juga merupakan perusahaan
publik, Garuda Indonesia memegang teguh
komitmen untuk memberikan perhatian
terhadap permasalahan sosial dan
kemasyarakatan,” tambah Arif.
Garuda Indonesia menggelar “Pasar Murah
Sembako” secara serentak di 10 daerah di
Indonesia, yaitu di Tapanuli Tengah,
Sumatera Utara, Kepulauan Mentawai,
Sumatera Barat, Batam, Pandeglang,
Banten, Tangerang, Jakarta, Berau,
Kalimantan Timur, Sirendeng Rapang,
Sulawesi Selatan, Mataram, Nusa Tenggara
Barat, dan Biak, Papua.
