Part of a daring four-piece

charcoal timepiece elicits the
urban steampunk vibes of
late-night city living.
Established in 2017 as an ode to
boundless ambition, The Electricianz
is dedicated to creativity in the usually
conservative landscape of luxury watches.
The brand is firmly anchored in Swiss
watchmaking ingenuity, with the Blackout
designed in conjunction with Studio Divine
– a design agency based in Biel, Switzerland.
A transparent 45mm hardened mineral
K1 glass face with anti-reflective treatment
underlines the battery, electromagnetic coil
of the conductor and electric stepping motor
as the heroes of the timepiece. The watch is
– of course – powered entirely by electricity.
This mechanical focus calls to ‘volt-lovers’:
curious individuals lured by an energetic,
urban and positively creative life.
Founder and CEO Laurent Rufenacht
explains that the Blackout is “a call to
one’s inner childish curiosity… where
quests consisted of uncovering how things

A unisex design, this timepiece complements
equally the wrists of males and females.
It comes with a calfskin leather NATO
strap as default, making it thinner and
sleeker than classic straps. A 3ATM water-
resistant rating allows the piece to be
submerged to up to 30m, along with
offering splash and rain resistance.
The timepiece is not symmetrical; whoever
