Surviving
This is it, the one and only,
the unique wave of Teahupo’o,
Tahiti. The wave breaks on the
reef barrier located on the south
coast of the Tahiti Peninsula.
It gets hammered by the big
south swell that comes from
the deep south of the Pacific.
As the swell hits the reef of
Tahiti, the wave forms a distinct
and perfect cylindrical shape.
Inilah dia, satu-satunya,
ombak Teahupo’o yang unik
di Tahiti. Ombak ini dihasilkan
oleh gelombang besar yang
berasal dari selatan Pasifik, yang
memecah di karang penghalang
di pantai selatan semenanjung
Tahiti. Saat gelombang
