Janet DeNeefe, the
founder and director of
the annual Ubud Writers
& Readers Festival, Ubud
Food Festival and Bali
Emerging Voices Festival,
has lived in Bali for nearly
three decades. Her latest
book is Bali: Food of
My Island Home,
following her memoir
Fragrant Rice. She is also
the owner of Casa Luna,
Indus and Bar Luna
restaurants in Ubud. Ayos Purwoaji is an
independent travel writer
and curator who works
in the history,
architecture and art
sectors. Since 2015, he
has been researching
modern architecture
in small cities in Java,
which has been
developing alongside
post-Independence
economic growth. In the
same year, he joined the
Surabaya Contemporary
Heritage Council. Tommy Schultz is
a travel and adventure
photographer who has
been based in Asia since
2004. His photography
and writing have been
published by National
Geographic, Patagonia,
The Surfer’s Journal,
The North Face,
the World Wildlife Fund,
and Garuda Indonesia,
and he recently made his
television debut as a judge
on the History Channel’s
Photo Face-Off show. David Bowden
is a photojournalist
specialising in travel, food
and the environment.
While born in Australia,
he has been Asia-based
for two decades. He is the
author of several books
including 10 in the
‘Enchanting Series’, such
as Enchanting Vietnam.
His latest book Great
Railway Journeys
in Australia and New
Zealand has just been
published by John
Beaufoy of the UK. Illust rator Hendri
Nguriana has loved
drawing since elementary
school. Creating
illustrations is his
favourite way of
expressing the ideas,
fantasies and abstract
concepts in his mind.
He takes inspiration
mostly from his favourite
movies and video games,
and from his travels.

dekade, Janet bermukim

dapatkan dari film, video
game dan hobi
melancongnya.
