AN EXCEPTIONAL,

Swiss watchmaker
extraordinaire Richard Mille
has partnered with Airbus
Corporate Jets (ACJ) to
produce the exceptional
RM 50-02 ACJ Tourbillon
Split Seconds Chronograph.
This luxurious timepiece was based
on a collective desire to create something
truly unique, focusing on high performance,
precision and technology. It took two years
for Sylvain Mariat, Head of ACJ’s Creative
Design Studio, along with Julien Boillat
and Salvador Arbona from Richard Mille,
to achieve this masterpiece of engineering.
The design of the watch itself stays
true to the technical, but chic, Richard Mille
style, and it brings through many of ACJ’s
most recognisable features, many of
which can be seen in the open-work design.
A number of the intricately crafted parts
have been finished with an aeronautical
coating to prevent corrosion; the secondary
ceramic bezel mirrors an ACJ cockpit;
while the pushers on the sides are styled
to match structures used to attach
the wing to the engine.

and it brings through
many of ACJ’s most
recognisable features
Limited to just 30 pieces, it is encased
in the same titanium–aluminium alloy
that’s used on the Airbus jet turbines,
while the crown is also jet-engine inspired.
