HOW TO APPLY
Applications are available under Careers at garnernc . gov . They are accepted only when a position is advertised . Hiring processes generally require two to four months to complete . Applicants who are not selected may reapply in a subsequent hiring process .
If there are no positions currently advertised , persons interested in employment with the Police Department may complete and submit an online Employment Interest Form . These forms will be maintained for a period of 12 months . When a vacancy is advertised , persons who have submitted an interest form will be notified by email . An online application for employment may then be completed and submitted on the Town of Garner website .
