F or the seniors, juniors and even sophomore players on the University of Manitoba Bisons women’s hockey, success was just a little harder to handle this season. Because of the uni- versity strike, mid-term exams were pushed back. As a result, play- offs and exams landed on the laps of the Bisons’ players at exactky the same time. It wasn’t an easy situation for anybody, but it must have been ex- tremely difficult for the team’s freshmen players. Piece of cake. Rookie defensemen, Megan Neduzak and Jenai Buchanan handled the additional stress like pros, designating their study time around all regular team skates and travel time to games across the country. As a result, a potential disaster was another easy victory. Reflecting back on the season Neduzak -- a product of Morden’s minor hockey programs -- didn’t shy away from expressing her stress and excitement. She is quick to admit that
