Playoffs and exam season are
two extremely difficult periods
for any university athlete. Unfor-
tunately, for the entire University
of Manitoba women’s hockey
team, those two demanding
stretches came simultaneously
this season, as the university
strike pushed mid-terms back,
running in conjunction with the
start of the Canada West playoffs.
However, for freshmen Jenai
Buchanan and Megan Neduzak, it
was all part of the game.
