1He has always worn No . 35 , explaining , “ It ’ s a really good goalie number and the history behind it with Tony Esposito in the 70s is really cool . Espo also introduced the butterfly system which has evolved into the style that players use today . I ' ve worn 35 since I was a kid playing for the Colts and Mustangs . Ever since I was eight-years old and saw Nikolai Khabibulin when he played for Tampa Bay wear the number back in 2004 it ’ s been my number .”2He enjoys being a mentor to his back up goalie Curtis Beck and thinks Beck will become a very good MMJHL goalie over the next two seasons .3 He reads , although he admitted , “ The last two things I read were GQ Magazine and a copy of Game On .”

4His favourite movie is the entire Godfather Trilogy while his favorite actor is James Franco and his favorite actress is Emma Stone . Why Emma Stone ? “ I can ’ t get into it here ,” he laughed .5 According to Ploszay , “ The team to beat this year in the MMJHL is the Raiders . They have great management , coaching , fans , and the best rink in Manitoba .” Co-incidentally , Hunter lives in Garden City , two minutes from the Seven Oaks Sportsplex and spends a lot of time there working as a goalie coach at Brent Zelenewich ’ s Tailor Made Goaltending school .

6 His favorite NHL team is , of course , the Winnipeg Jets and his favorite NHL player is Dustin Byfuglien .
7 He claims that the best-dressed and worst-dressed player on the team is the same guy : Aiken Chop . “ Aiken is Aiken ,” Hunter said . “ But you know we ’ re all Stonewall guys and we ' re not ever dressed up .”

9He calls his experience in the MMJHL , “ Incredible and chocked full of wonderful memories .”10 Hunter thinks the best player in the MMJHL is Nick Mathews of the Raiders and the most underrated guys in the league are defensemen Nicholas Gravel of Transcona and James Van De Velde of Pembina Valley ). “ Gravel has a wicked shot ,” He also has a lot of respect for Carson Rybuck of the Raiders .
